Let the GLCC help you plan your summer

Karen and I are excited about attending the GLCC 2025 Annual Rendezvous in Little Current, Ont. We hope you can join us if your cruising plans take you to the North Channel in July. The Rendezvous will be at the Port of Little Current from July 13-17, marking the Club’s 60th anniversary Rendezvous.

The event is organized by chairs Jib and Debby Turner of Little Current, along with GLCC Vice Commodore Craig Shantz and a number of other members.

Little Current hosted the Rendezvous in 1965, 1984, and 2008, and it is absolutely going to be a wonderful 60th Diamond Anniversary in 2025. Here is the link to learn more: https://www.glcclub.com/2025-glcc-rendezvous-little-current-ontario. 

A Wilderness Rally is also being planned in the North Channel soon after the Rendezvous ends. Stay tuned for more details on what should be a great follow-up event in the North Channel.

A little closer on the calendar is the Toronto Boat Show and GLCC Members Meetup Dinner in Toronto this month. The dinner is Friday, Jan. 24, and will be at the  National Yacht Club (O-45).

Active planning is also under way for our rallies this summer in Georgian Bay, Lake Superior, Lake Ontario, the Lake St Clair area, and more. Be sure to check the GLCC website calendar for the latest information as you plan your summer cruising.

January is also a great time to take advantage of the member benefit of free GLCCSchool classes. The school team continues to rock and roll with some great classes that you get free as part of your membership of the club.
