I don't think there is a car rental on Manitoulin Island

I recall the senior authority on the North Channel, Roy Eaton advised that there was no car rental on Manitoulin Island. However, if you're there in July or August, you may be able to advertise your transportation needs on the Little Current Cruisers Net. Or, I had a friend who hired a taxi to take him to Sudbury where he had some business in the middle of his vacation. Cars can be rented there. Hopefully I'm out of date and there is now car rental service but there wasn't as recently as 2 years ago.
