Wind-Test Buoy to be 6 Miles Off Michigan Shore

 A new buoy to test for wind strengths on Lake Michigan will be stationed 6 miles off the Lake Michigan east shore. The buoy is designed to gather data for use in deploying offshore wind turbines. News story here...
