Walter "Wally" M. Johnson
Longtime GLCC member Walter 'Wally" M. Johnson died Oct. 1, 2024.
Wally and his wife, Brenda, have been members of the GLCC since
1996. Wally served as a Rear Commodore for Region 27, Lake Michigan S.E.
from 2004-2016.
They were active participants in many GLCC events throughout their
time with GLCC, arriving aboard the (ITAL) Exporter from St. Joseph, Mich.,
proudly flying their 25th anniversary burgee.
Services were held Oct. 7 at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel,
17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635.
Memorial contributions in honor of Walter may be made to a charity of
donor's choice.
