“Psychedelic Sixties” Lake Erie Rally comes to Middle Bass Island

     Plan your summer line up with GLCC boating events now! First on your calendar should be the Lake Erie Rally, June 13–16. 

      The Psychedelic Sixties is our 4-day event filled with groovy 60s music and totally rad dances like the Twist and the Locomotion. Love will fill your senses with fun, funky games, fab friendships and far out food! Peace will fill the air in the mellow serenity of the island vibe.

     Also on the agenda are wild, one-of-a-kind games (and prizes). A hint: 60s trivia, “magical” mushrooms, flower power, “surfing” and more, are involved. 

     The music will get you singing and dancing all weekend long. Long-time GLCC members and good friends to all of us, Denny and Sharon Dutcher and guests, will keep your dance moves and your voices rocking and rolling with their 60’s music through their band, “Cap’t D’s Crew”.

     Oh, and don’t forget to wear your 60’s threads each day. Take yourself back to the wild, radical 60’s in outfits that include bell bottoms, flip flops, flower power and long hair, and are tie-dyed or crocheted.

     The costume contest is always filled with our members’ and guests’ amazing creativity and will be a “dream” for 3 lucky winners.
