Leon Dykhouse Passing

Leon Dykhouse, long time GLCC member passed away Monday afternoon 6/27/16 at the age of 89.  Leon and his wife Arleen (who survies him), were fimiliar faces at many GLCC Renedezvous with their boat, ,the Anne Marie, a 56' Matthews.   Leon was a past Commodore of the Saginaw Bay Yacht Club and past Commander the Saginaw Bay Power Squadron.  Leon served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was the owner and operator of the Dykhouse Pickle Company Inc., where he worked all his life.  Funeral and committal services will be at 11:00 AM, on Friday, July 1,2016 at the Vasser first Methodist Church, Vasser, MI.
