Join us in Alpena for April Launch

A couple of event updates for the calendar:  

APRIL LAUNCH: Our April Launch for 2025 will be in Alpena, Mich. Registration is now open on the website.

The team has put together a great event. I know if your plans permit, you will enjoy Alpena, and the time spent with fellow members. We look forward to seeing you in Alpena, Friday, April 25, through Sunday, April 27, 2025. 

RENDEZVOUS 2025: Our 2025 Rendezvous in Little Current, Ont., is shaping up to be an event to remember. Please sign up and make your dock reservations soon. The planning team has decided to set an April 13, 2025, date to start clearing the waitlist. That means if you have already reserved a dock, you should complete your registration payment by that date so we can make sure we maximize our dock usage in Little Current.  

Also consider attending the pre-Rendezvous meetup at Harbor Island and a post-Rendezvous gathering at Amedroz Island. 

GLCCSCHOOL: The GLCCSchool continues to rock and roll in March with several classes of note. As a reminder, part of your membership allows you to take classes free. Highlights in March include classes on weather, anchoring, overnight passages, Roy Eaton with North Channel Ports, and the Little Current Cruisers net. Please check out the full schedule here:

GETTING MORE INVOLVED: Finally, are you interested in helping lead and support the GLCC? We have several opportunities, including a leader for the Future Sites Committee (which will guide future Rendezvous locations), a Rear Commodore, a Port Captain or two, and, eventually, some key members of the Executive Board.
