The Great Lakes Cruising Club will again have a major presence at the northern hemisphere’s top event: the 2025 Toronto International Boat Show

Toronto boasts the largest indoor boat show in North America. The 67th edition of the show is open daily from Saturday, Jan. 18 through to Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Enercare Centre on the Exhibition Place grounds in Toronto.

The GLCC has a high-profile booth in a prime location among about 450 other exhibitors at the show. The club needs volunteers to staff our booth for 19 four-hour shifts over the nine days of the show to show off why membership is a great value.

Volunteering at the GLCC booth is fun and easy: Volunteers receive an exhibitor badge that grants free access for all nine days of the show.

You don’t need to be a long-term member of the club to volunteer. There is absolutely no hard-sell expectation, just a willingness to be friendly and chat with visitors about cruising and the GLCC.

The GLCC has an excellent booth that reflects well on the club. It’s a fun way to meet people and share your experiences as a member of the GLCC.  It’s inspiring to talk about cruising with like-minded boaters in the dead of winter. Clear instructions on how our booth works are provided.

Spaces are available most days, including some popular weekend shifts. Please contact Rear Commodore David Spencer if you can volunteer or if you’d like more information. (Scroll down for contact information.)

The GLCC booth is only a part of the club’s involvement in the show. Again this year, we have several GLCC members who have been asked to speak on cruising subjects on one of their three main stages at the show’s popular seminar series.

The seminar schedule is available here on the 2025 Toronto International Boat Show website.

A great indoor boatshow. The GLCC booth is the perfect place to stop and talk cruising with new and old friends. Don't forget the Meetup Dinner on Friday the 24th. Lot's of fun.
