2024 Annual General Membership Meeting

October 18-20, 2024, Frankenmuth, Mich.

Hotel information:

Rooms are blocked at the Bavarian Inn Lodge and Conference Center for $179 USD, standard double room. (not including fee and tax) More for upgraded rooms. Call to inquire and reserve at 1-855-652-7200. Give them the group number 13U1TP as reference when calling to get the group rate. Group rate deadline is September 17, 2024.

Bavarian Inn Lodge and Conference Center, One Covered Bridge Lane; Bavarian Inn Restaurant, 713 S. Main St.; Bavarian Belle Riverboat, 925 S. Main St., D3. All three venues are within walking distance of each other.

Friday, October 18 

1800–2000  Meet in the Brahams room on the second floor of the Bavarian Inn Lodge and Conference Center for social time and heavy Hors d’ oeuvres. Cash bar (US Cash & US Credit Cards Only).

Saturday, October 19 

0900-1130    GLCC & GLF Board Meetings. Extra seating available for members that would like to listen. Coffee, tea, fruit, and pastries available. (Bavarian Inn Restaurant / 2nd floor, Alpine Room)

1030 –1130   Pretzel rolling experience: hands-on learning of the proper pretzel rolling techniques in a Swiss Valley. Optional event $9 USD pp (Bavarian Inn Restaurant)

1130-1400   Lunch & leisure on your own

1400-1500   Cruise down the Cass River to take in all the fall colors on board the Bavarian Belle riverboat

1730   Annual GLCC & GLF Meetings followed by cash bar (US Cash & US Credit Cards Only) and dinner: Bavarian Family Style all-you-can-eat, which includes Bratwurst, Sauerbraten, Jager Schnitzel, broiled whitefish and the famous Frankenmuth style chicken, plus many side dishes. (Bavarian Inn Restaurant / 2nd floor, Alpine Room) After dinner: Awards and the Change of Watch, followed by entertainment by Jeff Grainger, A Sinatra Experience

Sunday, October 20

Breakfast on your own & departure

Weekend attire for AGMM: Friday night and the board meeting: business casual, no jackets or ties needed. Saturday evening meetings and dinner: Exec & Board - uniform with black bow tie or jacket with tie; General members - jacket, no tie required but encouraged (gentlemen) & after 5 attire (ladies).
