2023 Georgian Bay Rally

If your home port is on Georgian Bay or if you’re visiting this beautiful area late in the season, plan to attend the Georgian Bay Rally August 25–27 2023. This will be the first Georgian Bay Rally since 2019 and we’re looking forward to a fun and informal meet-up with GLCC members and any guest vessels who are interested in seeing what the GLCC is all about. There is no fee to attend and no registration required. It would be helpful if you would contact RC David Spencer (spencerdd@gmail.com) to let him know that you plan to come. The event will be held in the beautiful Massasauga Provincial Park covered in detail in the GB-28.X series of Harbour Reports for the Moon River Area. There are lots of great places to anchor in the Massasauga. We plan to hold our Rally in Shotgun Cove GB-28.5. This is a beautiful, popular and well protected anchorage that’s easy to access about 4.5nm off the small craft route through good, deep, well charted waters.

Our theme is "Fishing Derby" although no fishing skills or experience is required. Bring or wear your favourite fishing attire; the sillier looking, the better.
